This marks the start of me releasing music again on all platforms under “WhyNotShowLove.” This freestyle was recorded during a soundcheck at The Knitting Factory in Brooklyn, where I opened for my friend Nejma Nefertiti.

Runnin’ Away is my latest single, where I took a new approach to recording. I tracked the vocals and guitar in one take, adding minimal production to enhance the vibe. My dude Mindpower laid down the bassline, and I mixed and mastered it myself in Logic. The artwork was created by Liz Casanova.

Exploring Composition

Much of my past music was created within the 4/8 bar loop format, but these days, I’m thinking outside the box with instrumentation and arrangement. I’ve been inspired by playing instruments and diving into classical and jazz music.

Omni Downloads

I never understood the big deal with these streaming platforms. They host our material, making millions off of artist while we struggle to get proper royalties to our work. I know for a fact these streaming networks are not the answer.
